The Downloadable Lesson Plans Project 

Lesson Plans for Primary and Secondary School Teachers

The Superintendence of Cultural heritage is currently working on downloadable lesson plans on cultural heritage subjects to be used by primary and secondary school teachers. The first set of lesson plans are available through the links below and were launched on the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2004. Further lesson plans will be available from this website in the coming weeks and months. We would appreciate recieving your feedback on this project. Please send us your comments or any queries you might have through email heritage.superintendence@gov.mt

Maltese Windmills

Primary Level  
Lesson Plan for years 4, 5 and 6 Xarolla Windmill, Zurrieq

This lesson includes a question and answer session and instructions on how to built a model of a Maltese windmill. For this lesson plan you have to download the Handout that includes images of windmills.This has to be printed on a single sheet of paper. You can also download the file named Fun Games which includes activities for children such as colouring pages of windmills and a maze.
